Experience
Steven Torgesen joined Plave Koch as an associate attorney in April 2024. He previously served in a national law firm where his practice focused on corporate transactional matters, including private equity investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
At Plave Koch, his practice primarily centers on the transactional side of franchise law. He assists clients with drafting franchise agreements and disclosure documents, coordinating registration and renewal filings, and supporting franchise system transactions. He also provides support on litigation matters involving franchise relationships, helping to ensure a seamless approach to client service across disciplines.
Outside of the office, Steven enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking from scratch — especially when experimenting with new recipes inspired by his adventures.
