Experience

Halima Madjid has provided legal support to franchise clients since 2000. She works closely with the lawyers in our firm as well as clients in connection with all aspects of federal and state franchise regulation. She prepares Franchise Disclosure Documents, secures franchise registrations and exemptions with various state authorities, and maintains a database of filings.

Halima assists our clients with franchise compliance training, disclosures to prospective franchisees, contract transactions, compliance with marketing/advertising material filings, due diligence matters, business entity formation filings.  She has co-authored several articles on franchising and spoken on those topics at industry seminars and workshops.

Halima provides franchise paralegal mentorship and contributes her time to assisting on pro bono matters, including a successful asylum case. She was recognized with the Paralegal of the Year award for accomplishments assisting pro bono publico clients.
